A New Toy for my Face- Clarisonic PLUS

 Mr Colin got me this as part of my birthday presents. Guess this was the first time he walked into Sephora alone to get something. And without fail, he got me a gadget for my birthday (asus in 2011 and e-reader in 2012)...Guys being guys...hmmm... BUT I'm very happy with this as it is such a love <3<3

 Healthy skin begins with Clarisonic.

It's really not a tall claim if you've tried washing your face with this small machine. I feel that my face is much cleaner after using this as compared to using hands. And Mr Colin who has very oily skin feels that his skin is not as oily as usual after washing with this.
**It's said that it helps to remove 2x more oil and 2x more dirt as compared to using hands.

 For Clarisonic PLUS, the set comes with 2 brush heads- one for face (left; smaller) and the other for body (right; bigger). The face brush head that comes with the kit is for sensitive skin which suits almost everyone. However, you can also get brush head cater for your skin type (normal, delicate, deep pore & acne)  if you find that it doesn't suit you.

You can find quite a number of colors and designs on their website but I only saw baby pink and white ones in Sephora. I think other than baby pink, lilac is quite nice as well ^^

You can charge the machine in your bedroom and bring it to bathroom after charging, no need to worry if you have a plug in your bathroom or not ;) And a full charge allows you to use for up to 30 minutes! It doesn't sound a lot but imagine you use 1 minute everyday for face wash, you only have to charge once a month! Isn't it convenient?? =)

The kit also comes with these 4 cleansers.

And the best thing is it comes with a timer, telling you how long you should wash certain parts of your face i.e. 20 secs for forehead, 20 secs for nose/chin and another 20 secs for cheeks. So in 1 minute time, your face will be VERY CLEAN (think after facial). That's also why I said I only have to charge once every month! Of course I have to charge more often if I want to use to wash my body la.. 'Coz my surface area is... hmmm.. BIG?  haha..=P

Other than Too Cool for School that I mentioned in previous post, another big part of my $$ went to...

Had been wanting to get a new set of skincare since a beautician told me SKII might be too mature for my skin and my Kose trial set was going to an end soon. This moisturizing series is just so famous and their ambassador, Song Hye Kyo's angelic face is just so convincing...So I'd planned to get these way before my trip (not impulse buy k!) as the price is much friendlier in Korea. I got all these (7 items in total) at around sgd 200. And I believe all these can last for at least 9 months =)

1. Foam Cleanser - clean the face thoroughly to get rid of dirt and remaining makeup! I think this is the MOST important step; all essence apply afterwards would be a waste if your face is not clean (Imagine you pores are still full of your makeup.. ewww..)
2. Power Essential Skin Refiner - the first step after cleaning my face.
3. Balancing Emulsion - use after the skin refiner to enhance the effect.
4. Time Freeze Essence- I realised I have some fine wrinkles!!! I am so pissed off with myself for not taking good care of my skin so I've got this Time Freeze Essence. It better really freezes the time! Hope it will help me to look like a sweet 18 every year **cross fingers =P
5. Water Bank Moisture Cream - Song Hye Kyo's favourite product among all Laneige products! Like what she said, it really keeps our face moisturised (I can still feel the cream after a good night sleep).
6. The legendary water sleeping pack - apply before sleep. It works like a mask but it's more convenient 'coz you do not need to wash off after applying =)

It's advised to use either Time Freeze Essence or Water Sleeping pack as the last step of the regime so you won't over burden my face.
