[Cafe] In the Woods

Went In The Woods by the Windowsill Pies with friends for dinner another day. An amazing cafe with awesome PIES. And the main course is great as well.

They change their menu every fornightly so I can't wait to go back there 2 weeks later =P

[Life] Dinner at Cocotte, Wanderlust Hotel

Went to Cocotte @ Wanderlust Hotel for dinner. It's a french restaurant. The hotel design is lovely and the food is great! =) The only part that's not so great is its location- it's near to Little India, thus very crowded and hard to find a parking space. Luckily, they provide complimentary valet service (don't get cheated by the uncle if he asked for 5 bucks service charge! it's absolutely FREE)

 A big round table that can sit at least 10. Good for gathering.

 Poulet (chicken) with creamy sauce, crispy potato and baked broccoli

Tender fish with fresh veg

Pork with very juicy meat

AND dessert!!

Verdict:: Great meal. Definitely worth going back =)

Started our second day with hearty breakfast from Ximending- sandwich (综合三文治) and congzhuabing (葱抓饼) with bacon & egg & corn **a super greedy combination =P 

Proceeded to zhongxiaofuxing (忠孝复兴) for shopping and lunch at DinTaiFung. Didn't take much photos here as we were busily eating and shopping =x. But I must recommend DinTaiFung at zhongxiaofuxing! For me, it's still the best DinTaiFung in Taipei in terms of both quality of food and service standard. Some branches are just too packed by tour groups. So do drop by here if you wanna try out DinTaiFung in Taipei =)

And dinner at Love Lovely, a small, quaint western restaurant/cafe that I've been wanting to visit! If you love arty-farty stuff, I STRONGLY recommend you to visit this place. It's opened around mid 2012 and attracted quite a lot of attention so do make reservation before hand if you do not want to queue. In brief, it's an antique shop + restaurant; you can buy anything you see in the shop and the best part is that you can walk around the restaurant and take as many pictures as you want! It's a perfect place for girls' night-out!
